-bug spray makes a wonderful summer perfume
-rats are not afraid of dc residents
-it's nice to be dry in the winter, instead of soggy like in Seattle
-But being soggy in the summer from humidity sucks so much more

These observations mostly apply to NYC, too. Though it's not just the rats that don't fear people...I discovered some perky 'lil maggots squirming around the outside of our building's trash and recycling cans yesterday. Where the hell do they come from, anyway?!
